Resumen

El objetivo fue evaluar kaempferol en hojas e inflorescencias de huauzontle (Chenopodium berlandieri subsp. nuttalliae) cultivado bajo condiciones de salinidad, así como la concentración de Na+ y K+. El experimento se realizó en invernadero con trata mientos de 0, 100, 200 y 300 mM NaCl, bajo un diseño de bloques completamente al azar con 12 repeticiones, utilizando semillas originarias de Puebla. Los extractos metanólicos se analizaron mediante cromatografía en capa fina de alta resolución (HPTLC). Los resultados confirmaron mayores concentraciones de kaempferol en hojas (0.407–0.456 mg g-¹ PS) que en inflorescencias (0.180–0.241 mg g-¹ PS). En hojas, el contenido se mantuvo estable, pese al incremento de Na+. En inflorescencias, el aumento de NaCl se asoció con menor contenido de kaempferol. Se detectaron bandas adicionales con actividad antioxidante. Estos hallazgos representan el primer reporte en este quelite y evidencian diferencias tisulares en la respuesta al estrés salino.
